Default Humber Mk IV

The restoring of the Humber Mk IV in Holland is almost finished.
Andries Kelder and his crew of the Dutch Cavalry Museum Workshop
has done a very nice job (again). Perfect Andries !

Dirk.

But the Fox is also coming Andries. Maybe the two "Armoured Cars"
together to Spakenburg's liberation - parade in May 2005 ?

Your (Army green) transmission was the best one Barry, only new bearings, that was all.

Default Fox interior

Here are a few pictures of another Fox under restoration that would love to join the Fox and Humber shown here in 2005 but is on the wrong side of the Atlantic!

Driver's compartment. The insert glass windshield is on the right side over the battery box, driver's 19 set wireless box below.

Default WANTED

Anyone near a Fox who for the right incentive/bribing would be willing to photograph and measure a few parts so I can reproduce them. Please contact me by private message if you may be able to help.

Hi Bruce,

Many thanks for the nice pictures.I understand your question, the time is coming that we can change our information. After our 3 weeks holiday in October,is our first job to place the Hull on the Chassis. Yes the Fox is coming, this Winter.

Mvg. Dirk

Default Thank you

Dirk, it would be great to share knowledge as we are at much the same stage, though it's taken me a lot longer to get there!

Hallo Bruce,

Can you help us with a picture of the right place of the vacuum-booster, including the brackets ?

Many thanks, Dirk

Default Brake booster

No problem Dirk. Do you have the two welded metal brackets that position this unit to the frame cross member? Also, I envy your wooden steering wheel. Mine is plastic, and somehow the wooden one looks so much better.
