Default 16th Field Company - RCE - Info and pictures needed

Hello everyone,

I am a new member on this forum. I am an ex-military, (Royal Military College and Royal Canadian Navy), a passionate of Canada's military past and... a French-Canadian. I say so because it is possible that my written English will sometimes be defficient. I apologize for that in advance.

I am writting today to ask if anybody has pictures of the 16th Field Company (Royal Canadian Engineers) between the period of 1942 to 1946.

I am doing a (great and very interesting!) research on a sapper by the name of Spr Alcide Brisebois and I have very little info as for now. I know that he was with the 16th Field Coy on D-Day and that he was wounded in France on the 18th of July 1944.

If anyone has info and/or pictures about Spr Brisebois and/or his Coy, please let me know.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers!

Default RCE histories

The official histories of the Royal Canadian Engineers are blue covered hardcovers. The authors detail the activities of almost every RCE unit. I bought my copies on line on ebay.
