$34,000 got my attention. I guess he priced it like it was a current model used truck.

That's approximately what I paid for a new 2006 F350 diesel 4x4 20 years after the CUCV was produced. It was basic (no AC, manual transmission, manual seats and windows) but capable until it started eating parts and corrosion started to be visible. You do have to appreciate the seller's optimism.... much more cheerful than pessimism...

I know there seems to be a bit of a revival on the square body chevs. I didn't know they are now worth more than when they were first purchased. Good luck to the seller. It can be hard to recoup all the expenses of a quality restoration.
I see another one on kijiji out of Edmonton for $20K.

Default cucv price

I must agree with the above sentiments, a bit steep in price. There was another cucv for sale in the same condition and in the same price range. One of the guys in our mv group comment was why spend so much money on a truck that is not really in high demand.
Also, having owned a M1008CDN, I have a seen a few listed M1028s, but the M1028 did not have a tailgate. It had plates on either side of the box to help keep the pod (usually the S250)in the box. It also had brackets in each corner of the box for hold downs attached to the pod.
