Default Restoration Equipment

Dirk is still in Canada but Stefan has returned home. He emailed us a photo of what he bought when he returned to Holland. Stefan says this crane is required for the new recycling containers but Dirk says Stefan wants it to make working on the vehicles easier. Either way I wish it was in my yard in Castleton.

Alex, sorry for the late reply but it has been busy with the Dutch guys, but now everyone has returned home. Our original plan was to come to Ottawa the weekend of the 20th. I had hoped to take Dirk to see the highlights of our nation's capital, or to be more specific "Chez Blair" and "Hammond Barn". Dirk wanted to visit you for some misguided reason and he enjoys the Hammond Barn threads so I thought breakfast there on Saturday would be nice. I didn't phone ahead to make plans as there was some confusion with his container this year. Maersk was out of containers. It resulted in Dirk loading the container on the Saturday and Sunday. I am glad we didn't set things up and then not be able to come. Hopefully next year it will work out. I spent the last two days on the phone trying to get an export permit for the container. It's amazing how our government phone service works. Maersk kept giving me different phone numbers and I must have listened to 100 menus. In the end I registered on line in about 10 minutes because I already have a GST number. One Government "Help Line" explained there would be a power interuption on Oct. 13 (already past) and thanks for calling the Help line. Click!!
Cheers,
Barry
