Default Ford FAT canvas question

Hello
Can anyone explain me how the canvas is fixed on the Fat top in the front , how the two straps are installed on the back in the truck (spring)?
And how it is fixed when it is open?

Thank you
Sylvain

Here you can see some of it.
Yes to my knowledge the two loops are used for rolling up the canvas
I might have sent you these before.
on mine the canvas is bolted at the front with a piece of steel like the weather seals on the front of the cab. But I can not confirm this as correct yet

hello
Thank you again Niels , this pictures are good, but I always asking myself how the rear sling works, how is the spring working?
Is the sling going out of the hole when the top is open , or is it used to close the canvas from the inside?

It's not always easy to explain in english!!!!

I wonder that no one has a complete FAT on the forum?

Cheers
Sylvain

Hello

Here is a picture of my work on the FAT, I have a new question about the canvas roof, can someone give me the position of the two holes in the roof.
A other question, are the tree parts inside the roof in line?, I dont understand how exactly this hook and spring work?

Cheers

On mine the square hole is 1.5 cm x 3 cm and its placed 10 cm from the top of the sloping back to the top of the hole, and it's 36,5 cm from the edge of the vehicle to the out edge of the hole lower corner. Does this make sense?
