Default Remove hose markings

I've struggled for a while to find some white rubber hose for the C15 water truck. Most of it is the shiny silicon type. I found some EPDM hose that at first glance looks quite good; only drawback is the manufacturer's marking that appears every 250mm along it's length.

Anybody have any ideas on how to 'conceal' these markings? It looks to be moulded into the hose rather than printed on, so I doubt sanding it would work?

Thanks!
Owen.
