Hi Guy

Nice to see someone restoring a FAT. I can take measurements of specific things if you like. Also Dirk Leegwater in Holland bought a FAT in Canada this year and it is in Holland now. I am sure if you made an appointment with him or his son Stefan he would let you take measurements. He actually bought an extra body when he was here. Also there is a 12 cab FAT somewhere in Belgium.
I have a photo of it in 1989 in Normandy. It was owned by a guy named Thiery Beale. He sold it and is more into motorcycles, the last I heard. Maybe he could lead you to the current owner. Let me know if you want his address and I will see if I can find it.
Good Luck
Barry

Guy,

The yellow colour must be Light Stone #61, the light green brown one is probably Khaki Green #3.
For more info see my web page paint schemes for CMP trucks, including a picture of the paint Dirk had made up from matching the colour on new old stock parts.

Regards,
Hanno

Wonderful job, Guy

Can you share some more pictures of it? I'm thinking it would be nice to see some of the before and during as well.

Hi Frédéric. Can you please share them with all of us? What other treasures do you have in France?

Keith

Also I've posted a few of my 1978 images taken in France of a couple of Dodge Weapons Carriers here.

It really doesn't matter whether this is a Chevrolet or Ford, it's CMP and that's what really counts!

What a great vehicle, n'est-ce pas?

Is he? / Are they?

The only two pics that came with the advert are posted here, maybe if someone is interested in this CGT can ask for more photos and post them here.
