Default The Temora Mk VIII Meteor

We've just started adding some video content to the Temora Aviation Museum website (which we also created).
I'd like to get some feedback as to whether this works for you.

Have a look at the Gloster Meteor segment - Go to The Meteor page and click on the view movie link.

It's about 350kb and of course works best with broadband but you should be able to see it with dialup if you're patient.

To shoot this I had the Meteor to myself with Darren making low passes over me. Wonderful fun!

Default Works

Works on my ADSL connection just fine Keith. Although the start button didn,t highlight when I ran the mouse over it ,so it wasn't immediately obvious where to click. Great bit of video thought well done.

Keith !

Brilliant...........I see that this Meteor was based at West Malling early in its service career, could well have been one that used to come over our house in East Sussex, at treetop height in the early '50's, used to frighten the life out of me (would have been about 4 then !).

Incidentally, we have a Commonwealth built Mustang based a few miles away from here, work stops when he comes out to play.

Default Wonderful!

Thank You Keith!

I became a teenager again watching the Vampire DH 115 movie! We had a few at Barkarby AFB (approx 10 km NW Stockholm) close to my home.

R Sw AF had:
1946-1955 DH 100 Mk I: 70 pcs
1949-1965 DH 100 Mk 50: 280 pcs
1953-1968 DH 115 Trainer: 67 pcs

Greetings from a cold snowfilled Stockholm,

Keith: buffering took a while on my 26.4 dial-up, but results were great.

BTW, one cannot fly an ex military jet powered aircraft in Canada.

Beg to differ, albeit there may be conflicting regulations... at the 75th anniversary of the RCAF at Trenton, we were all memerized at the sight of an F-86H chasing a MiG 17 all around the sky. It was awesome, almost as good as the Lanc...

...yes, awesome sight and sound, however neither a/c were Canadian registered...totally illegal...Before any jet powered a/c are sold for scrap ex Mountainview, the main spar is axed.
