Thanks for that information, Richard.
I was not aware of a special version Lancaster built for the Japanese theatre. I wonder if any of them have survived? Most today seem to be late, postwar modified Lancaster’s that were used for Air Photo work and other postwar tasks. This one caught my eye because of its wartime paint scheme. David |
