Default Chevrolet bolt head markings

Hi all,

I am currently fixing some electrical problems and have the front end shell off of my C8A and am thinking about grinding/sanding the modern markings off of the bolts. I did some searching but could not find any info on bold/hex head markings.

I found a couple of different markings on mine.

The obvious modern ones. These will be sanded off

Now to the old stuff:

'E C'. This one is common on Jeeps and so Is probably original, or at least period correct. G503 forum thread: 'Bolt head marking research-the story so far in a spreadsheet'

The same goes for 'A' and 'C' marked bolts.

Now some bolts which I have not seen anywhere:

A small '2'. I have a lot of these.

Also these. I have two variants. 'W1 over C' and 'W2 over C'.

Is there a spreadsheet or something which shows all the different bold head markings that were used on Chevrolet CMPs? I'd like to know a little bit more about these.

Default F script

Just to add:
Evert van Luttikhuizen just told me that he found several Ford 'F' marked bolts on CMPs he worked on over the years.

Default Bolt head marking

I am currently disassembling a 1951 chev panel built in Oshawa Ontario. The rear crossmember has two bolts through the top of the frame and the remainder are rivets. The bolts are original to the truck as the body would need to be removed to access them. Here are pictures showing the markings. I know that this is post war, but if these bolts are found on a cmp, they may be original.

Not Chev Blitz but my 1940 Chev Staff Car I'm preparing for the Back to the Track trip next July. The rear shock absorbers, bolts and links are all marked GMH. (General Motors Holden). These were part of the local production parts fitted to the imported chassis. The Chevs were built using local and imported parts. (Sounds like something from a supermarket package nowdays.)
