YouTube Video of F60L cruising around
Hello MLU-ers,
I just found this link to a YouTube video of a F650L Light Recovery truck with a Holmes twin boom arrangement. It was posted by garyawallace's Channel It is good to see one actually moving around and making that nice V8 rumble. http://www.youtube.com/user/garyawal.../1/ZbeZLD88nC4 Is Gary A. Wallace a member of MLU? Enjoy Kind Regards Lionel

The vehicle I want to show you belongs to those less known pobably. It is a Praga V3S, made in Czechoslovakia from late 50īs till 70īs years, mostly for militay use. Powered by air-cooled 6-in-line Diesel (Tatra). The crane is a copy of war 3-ton Gar Wood swinging boom crane. It was soon superseeded by heavier Tatras.

I believe this to be a early pre WW2 gantry recovery for light equipment based on a Morris D seen here towing a single axle recovery trailer. It must have had its limitations.
