Default 1/2 Ton Chevy Army truck spares

Can anyone help this lady please? I assue that it's a US truck and not Canadian:

Quote:
just purchased a 1942 Chevy truck for my husband and have been trying to locate a few parts for it, but with no luck. Maybe you could help me out. This truck was in the Army for the 1st 8yrs of its life. It has 18in. rims on it. We have four of the originals but would like to purchase one for the spare. Any suggestions as to where we could find this item.

Thank You
Jana

where is the lady located and what spares does she want apart from an 18inch rim? A photo would help ID the truck. I know the folk on the forum here are good at providing information but in return we need a few more clues then just "1942 1/2 ton chev truck that spent the first 8 years of it's life in the Army"!

If it is on 18inch rims is it an MCP 30cwt or 3 ton instead of a 1/2 ton as your title suggests?
