Default Aussie Version??

Is this photo an Aussie equivilent to your trailer, or did it have another role? Would like to know just what this trailer was.

Robert, not sure as to your trailer's configuration. My cmp chassis was the basis for many different models depending on what was attached to it.

Robert
I have one similar , it has WW2 hubs and 7.50x18 tyres , the data plate says 1953 .
I take it that these were to be towed by a truck or heavy ute .

Regards
Jim S.

Jim, yes ours is the same as yours. It now has the timber deck as per your photo. Would like to put some equip on top ie Geny set or something. Our data plate reads, Aust No.4 built by Macc & Co.

Well here are 3 examples of Aust trailers showing types of bodies/equipment fitted on these type of trailers. There are some moinor differences between them but all appear to be about the same size etc...

Robert, we looked at the big No 4 trailer Here, it not a Jeep trailer. Better add your serial number to the register!

Default The Register??

Tony, not sure where you mean to post the rego number so I'll put it here. By the way ,the trailer actually belongs to Ashley, I happily painted it up for him. Rego no. is 092

For a relatively obscure Aust trailer, there's a lot of these coming out of the woodwork!
A collector in Qld has 016, Ashley has 092, I've got 271, and Jim has 350.

Theres another one on a neighbouring property to Ashley in Yass. Don't know its number though.
The markings after the 092 are some sort of defence symbols not numbers.
