Default Wiring box in crate

Yesterday I was visiting another warehouse of old spare parts, here in Buenos Aires. In one of the lots there are these almost unopened wooden boxes that have been outdoors for more than 5 decades and the cardboard boxes look like new. The lack of buyers and the impossibility of exporting these boxes will, at some point, end up in the junkyard.
In these box you can see autopulse wiring and headlamp wiring
But the quality of the packaging is amazing!

Default Why?????

Mariano .......... why and what are the restrictions all about???? as most of the CMP parts are of Canadian origin/manufacture, they can return to Canada with no custom duties for us to bring back....... can you help us understand.....without causing a political issue.

Someone is missing out on a tremendous opportunity.

Curious.
