... just checked a local map and the accident looks to be 10/11 blocks straight down 14th from my location. A few blocks further North (towards my location) very busy core down Safeway, traffic, pedestrians etc, could have meant a whole lot worse ... bad and sad enough for the people here. Small community ...........

Well, hard to believe it, but at the moment at 9:30 PM it's +24 outside ... reached +28 today. Just had to gloat ... I'm in heaven!

------ regards the helicopter crash ... victims identified, one, the pedestrian the copter landed on was wearing headphones at the time which probably, as the news reports say, he didn't hear it to know to get out of the way, a Kenya lad around 20/23 not clear on age, here as a student, was on his way to the post office to mail some letters home to his family. The pilot and the hydro workers all local. Reasons for crash still being investigated.

I'll bet all three fires are roaring!

It's a balmy 8 degrees here with constant light rain. Just beautiful.

Too cold and humid to try to paint anything.

11:41 and it's +17 ... 7 degree drop in 2 hrs 12 minutes. Tomorrow high temps expected again though, I think

Feeling better all day today Weather related perhaps? But soon as it drops a lot in a short time, ouch again. Oh well ... suck up the warmth in the day and snuggle under a comforter at night

Absolutely.

You can't say that in Canada, I have it on good authority from Kev.

Wouldn't want you Diggers to make a President Mitterand of yourselves, just ask Sir Les Patterson, the Australian Cultural Attaché. . . .
