Default Fraser Eadie

Art:

I noticed that some of the relatives in the obit are named "Nicklin".

Any relation to Jeff Nicklin, who died during the Rhine offensive?

Arrow STAND UP! HOOK UP!

Thanks, Art. John's questions are mine.... the coincidence is too much - they have to be the same Nicklins.

Strangely, this makes it even more touching....

Default re. Eadie

There is( was a year ago) also a Major Bob Eadie serving with the Canadian High Commission in London who I have had the pleasure of meeting at a few Dieppe Day Memorial Services. Another relation perhaps?

Default Eadie-NIcklin connection...

Hey All,

Many have touched on the Eadie-Nicklin connection in his obit. Eadie and Nicklin were really good friends and when Nicklin was killed in the Rhine drop Eadie ended up marrying his wife after the war. Thus the connection.....
