Default Steam-Era, Milton, Ontario, Aug.29-Sept.1

The 54th annual Steam-Era on Labour Day weekend at the Country Heritage Park, Milton, Ontario is featuring military equipment. They have dedicated a 1-acre grassy display area for military vehicles and equipment. This is Ontario's largest steam and farm machinery show featuring all sorts displays, antique cars, flea market and competition events of all sorts.
Dennis Walker will be bringing his artillery collection and WW2 60" spotlight. Some vintage motorcycles will be on site. I will be there with a few pieces; White Scout Car, SUMB, Dodge Command Car and DUKW plus more if time allows. This is a good event to spend a few days chatting and demonstrating your vehicle to thousands of attendees.
Country Heritage Park is a large property and the home of an extensive collection of vintage farm machinery. It is located on Tremaine Road just west of Milton, Ontario. Show days are Friday August 29th to Monday September 1.
PM me if you want more information or check the Steam-Era website. ..... Brian

Default Milton Steam-Era

It looks like a good military equipment and vehicle display as part of the large Milton Steam-Era. Just now preparing my DUKW, White Scout car, French SUMB, Ford GPW, Auto Union MUNGA and Dodge Command Car. Lots of other vehicles and artillery pieces are moving in as part of early set-up. There will also be all of the usual steam and farm equipment on site: hundreds of pieces of vintage machinery and equipment!. A big show on 84 acres. Free admission if you bring a military vehicle for display: you don't have to stay for the whole show.
See Michael R.'s posting for the Steam-Era web site. ............. Brian
