Default Lister Diesel

Is there any evidence of military use of Lister stationary engines ?

Particularly CS ( cold start ) single cyl. diesel models of 3 to 8 hp . These models were in production in the UK from around 1929 to 1987 . And, are now currently still in production in India .

These engines are popular with people making their own electric power , with 240V generator heads . They will run with vegetable oil, sump oil , kero, just about anything .
