Default Canadian army uniform - colors/shades

Hello. I just joined Maple Leaf Up this evening and this is my first posting. I'm constructing my first 15mm WWII army for a game in Syracuse, NY USA using the Flames of War rules.

I have three questions:

1. I've been told that Canadian forces in Europe in '44-'45 wore a dark green uniform. If so, does anyone know what type or shade of green?

2. Where can I access information on shoulder patches worn by Canadian infantry in Europe, '44-'45?

3. Finally, what color were Canadian tanks, APCs, and tank destroyers in Europe- were they the same color as their American counterparts (basic olive green) or some other color?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely, Yank

Hi there.

I would recomend that you check out the Canuck site at www.canadiansoldiers.com

You will find the answers to most of what you asked and much more.
