My Great Grandfather

William Martin born Ayr Scotland (a bastard) mother and he fled to Ireland. At 17 he joined the South Down Militia and subsequently joined to Scots Fusiliers and served in India and Afganistan under Lord Roberts VC. This picture was part of his wedding photo taken showing him as a Staff Sgt.
