Default Hybrid Chev

Hi Guys,
You might have seen this before. Recently photographed in the Tawhiti Museum near Hawera, South Taranaki NZ. No details provided - is it a local creation or were they produced in WW2?

The Australians converted a C60S into a halftrack during ww2, but as a prototype only. Search this forum to see the late Bob Moseley's recreation of it.

But this is a figment of someone's imagination.

Default Bobs repo

Hi Guys

I have attached photos of the late Bob Moseley's reproduced tracked Blitz. I remember Bob telling me he made it from actual drawings of a proto type made by General Motors Holden in South Australia and tested for the army. It never went into production. I know Bob had a lot of front wheel steering problems with his project. I believe after Bob passed away the vehicle was obtained by the Military Museum in SA where it is currently on display. The tracked vehicle was also featured in one of Keith's DVD of Corowa.

Cheers

Tony
