Default CMP Radiators..............

'Evening All,

We have three CMPs in our collection at the Ashton Armoury Museum (in Victoria, BC, Canada) - two Cab 13 C-15 CMPs, and one Chevrolet Cab 13 C60s Wrecker, all in need of new radiators.

All three radiators have been rebuilt too many times, and beyond repairing again. Can anyone recommend a source for new radiators that are can be fitted with no alterations to the vehicle, engine, or radiator, or if need be, with MINIMAL changes?

We're also in need of a new distributer for one of the C-15s (which will also need a full tune-up).

Cheers,

Chris Preston

Have a look on ebay for Ford Flathead aluminum radiator. Fins one that is close to what you need. Many of the sellers will put the mounts wherever you ask for them. While maybe not as good as the original copper rads, the price is reasonable, it will cool sufficiently, look alright, and they are usually priced OK. Have it shipped to the border and pick it up from there if possible.

On another subject, shoot me an email if you still need some deuce bows etc. I have been tardy in getting those to you, and now is the season to get it done.

The Ford Radiators don't line up well with a Chev, and I haven't yet seen any of those cheap Chinese rads made for early Chev trucks.

Might have to go to a custom radiator manufacturer and have one made to spec. (Here in Aust, I would recommend Aussie Desert Cooler).
