Default One of my all time favourites!!!

Now that I've found this it's a toss up between Jeff Davis' carrier and bren, and this clever edit.

It's one of my little secrets, made when movies really were good and entertaining. A war movie, made during the war that was about the war, but still managed to be funny and light-hearted. Arthur Askey's "King Arthur was a Gentleman", guess I'll have great difficulty trying to secure it on DVD now as I'm sure you'll all be out to get your copies.

It also has another love of mine - Monty Python.

But I can't stand Sylvester Stalone or Rocky, can only think of one movie I dislike more and that's Rumpbone...oops Rambo. The guy's a no talent drug addict.

Anyway, hope you enjoy this little one, but I know you'll love it ( at least 'til "Hambone" oops, did it again ).

Pedr

Arthur Askey's "King Arthur was a Gentleman"

Default Real footage

And finally on a more sombre note.

Found this marvellous footage.

It's Black and White, which usually I like as it helps to age some things, but in this case I wish it was colour just to help show how bad things are in situations like this.

WARNING - The following footage is graphic and should only be watched in the supervision of adults. It contains vision of war and deceased persons. Not suitable for children or those who may be offended.

Notice to the HMVF people, your site isn't quite the same as YouTube YET. Plus all of your videos are not able to be downloaded for future reference, so for the time being, I'm sticking with YouTube.

This looks to be the same carrier in the video above. I really liked the parade. However I do think the person driving was being rather dangerous by showing off. At the 1:30 portion of the film you will see what I mean. From the camera angle he looked rather close to a number of people.
