Default Chris back in Maxis Blitzheaven

Good Day

I thought I just start a new thread about my new short visit to Max & Kathy in Yass.

As you probably still know, I enjoyed the Aussie hospitality of Max & Kathy back in Summer 2005. I'll be going back to visit them and enjoy Corowa . It's going to be a very international event with Karmen & Jif coming too. I don't think all of this would be possible without the MLU community! Hope to meet some new MLU members in Corowa.

I will leave Switzerland next Thursday and keep you updated about my Aussie impressions.

Greetings
Chris

Is this a case of being a gluton for punishment?

Cheers

Chris, there will be no shortage of MLU people there, so you're bound to meet some new friends, as well as ride (and swim) in some fun vehicles.

... brilliant, I haven't had a ride in a DUKW so far.

I hope you don't mind my European truck drive style ;-)

Default Drive

Looks like a shocking experience.

Just leave the driving to us. We know how to drive on the correct side of the road.

Default arrived in Sydney

Good day folkes

Just wanted to let you know, that I despite "the engine trouble" have safely arrived in Sydney. Max & Kathy picked me up and we spent the afternoon watching (young girls) at Manly Beach.

Will stay in Sydney until Tuesday before making my way down to Blitzheaven.

Greetings
Chris

PS Gosh, over 35 degrees today. A little bit shocking after having not more than 10 degrees the last few weeks.

You shouldn't say things like that about Max, Chris!

Default Ford Ute

Max just collected the Ford Ute at John's place. I love the V8 sound, very smooth. She'll be my personal means of transport for Corowa

Thanx to youtube, you can watch her when Max is firing her up

Default Secluded beaches

There are some more secluded beaches where you may see 'white pointers'.

You're here to see MV's Chris.

Stay focused, please!

The red jacket is back home :-( I expected temperatures in the 30+ and no rainfall. Brr, at the moment it's only 18 degrees and a chilly wind. Hope I don't freeze too much when sleeping in a swag in Corowa. Or you'll have to organise a female hot water bottle for cold nights, oh, that'll be cuddly ;-))

cu Bob

Default 12 Monkeys

After all the "trouble" with the Canadiens, I thought I'll give you a little update.

Here's Max's new project, restoring the Cab 11.

Do you know the movie "12 monkeys" with Bruce Willies? Here are 2 monkeys, find the missing 10 ;-)
