Default Australian Trip Back to the Track 2005

A trip will be run for Military vehicles from Perth to Alice springs in August 2005. Travelling north to the most Western point of Australia and then East across the Gibson Desert to Alice springs. A week of events then follow at Alice springs. I hope to then cross the Simpson desert to Birdsville and then back east via Coppers Creek and Broken Hill. I have full details of the planned official itinery available.

I have a spare seat available and would be interested in sharing the fuel costs. I am leaving from close to the East coast so there will be a 4000km drive to the kick of point.

If any one is interested in comming along please feel free to drop me a Private Mail.

PS person must be able to cope with a 3 year old boy who will be along for part of the event.

Default Marky old boy

Would you like to explain what you are holding in your left hand, and why you are holding the thing in your right hand so early in the morning.

Default The Secret Stuff

Well in my right hand is a damper straight out of the camp oven. For those from the Northern side of the equator this really is the Aussie version of the Scone only a little bigger. That so you dont have to go back for seconds and thirds.

Eaten with fresh butter and jam one of these will keep you going until the lunchtime camp oven roast.

The left hand holds the secret ingrediant to make the damper happy and rise.

Its even better when Keffy invites Happy ( the Sheep) to eat with him.

When are you ging to come down under, you must be getting sick of that snow? It only takes a day to get hear, then my dady might give you a ride in his blitz, ford ute, jeep, Carrier, on maby even on the old harly

Come and smell the gum leaves with Keffy.
