Default Dingo? could be for sale for a while?

Hi all,
Found this while trolling the trading post.
Quote:
ARMY SCOUT CAR WW2 dingo, 4WD needs, restoration, $400000ono chassis no-MH0004765 phone Keith (03)95872611, (0419)347288, Mordialloc

STATE: VIC FIRST PUBLISHED: 7 Jul 2005
SOURCE: Private Classifieds (Melbourne Trading Post)
I have nothing to do with it, and i guess its a typo... but what was it meant to say... 4k might be too less? 40k too much? and 400K... well? (or am i a bit out of touch?- i am 'just' a jeeper after all!)

Interesting none the less. Does anyone know it or of it?

Ian.

Sound like an Australian designed Dingo light armoured car. The chassis no. starting with "MH" could to confirm it is a Ford chassis modified with Marmon-Herrington All Wheel Drive conversion.

Is it? Could be the price was bumped up from $4,000 to $4,400, but I doubt the chassis no was changed from MH0004765 to MH004750. Or did the trading post make yet another typo? No doubt the other Aussie Dingo owners know Keith and his Dingo(s)!

Default Dingo Armoured car

G,day All, yet another ebay find in Victoria, Dingo Armoured Car ebay item No 150050255750 located Dandenong, Victoria auction ends 31/10/06. Seller states some body sections missing, it would appear that the chassis, running gear, and the armour over and around the engine could be intact from a novices (me)point of view, anyway cheers Dennis
