I'll try to list all the CMP vehicles which took part in the event. If you can add to this list, please do so. Especially to the Carriers guys, I have not made an effort to pick out all the Canadian-built carriers.

C8A HUP, cut-down and fitted with a makeshift body. I spoke to the owner (sorry I forgot your name) and he told me he is probably going to leave it this way and enjoy it as is:

Default veteran

In 2009 I met a Market Garden veteran . A friend of mine lives at Newborough near Moe, Clem said " come over and meet the paratrooper " Alec was late 80's . Alec said the training in the UK was dangerous , his mob lost two when two guys landed in a marsh and drowned , while training on land mine clearing , a mine exploded killing somebody just next to Alec. He said he was flown over to Norway for the German round up after the surrender and the other aircraft carrying his unit crashed with all on board killed. Alec described in detail his escape in Holland , he wandered around in pitch black and into a German camp just as the sun came up . He said they ran out of drinking water and some were killed crawling out to find water

Alec was flown back all expenses paid for the last reunion they had .
