Found: Leather straps
A matching pair of brown leather straps 1 1/2" wide and
7' 3 1/2 " long. In excellent condition and marked DM & S Ltd. 1944. Thought they might be retaining straps for the canvas on a Mk 1 carrier. Any ideas??? Peter Simundson Last edited by peter simundson; 05-03-21 at 16:17. |

Peter, They,re mine! I lost them! :-)
I bought one a while back, on epay. I bought it for the purpose you mentioned. Now I need another. It was supposedly a Vickers gun related item. Does that help?...... Maybe some one who knows can expand on this? You're not planning a trip this way?????
