Default Pachino Photo

I came across this photo of the Canadian beach head at Pachino Sicily on the DND web site.

Thumbs up Re: Pachino

Great picture John, 60 years ago last Thursday (10 July 1943) - the D-Day Dodgers of 1st Div started their days in 'Sunny Italy' - 11 months before the 3rd Div landed in Normandy.....

Cheers

Default 15cwt Truck

The truck appears to be a light AA tractor but has a "5" bridge class like a 15cwt truck. Any explanation for this? Yes it dose look like a 40mm Bofors AA gun behind the truck.
