Default NOS cotton straps with buckles

new old stock from 1954,cotton straps with buckles,unsewned.
1" wide x 21" long.
5$ each i have a few boxes of 25 left,EMT or paypal friends and family

G-740 part number, for a M38 jeep then.

Richard is correct. The NSN is 5340007697594 , the Jeep part number is 671968, and the description is web, body, hold down. The parts manual lists a total of 12 of them used on the M38, but does not give the exact part location(s).

The unit price on them used to be 23¢, the US navy was the last purchaser of them in 1997 at that price.

They are for the side curtains and rear panel: when sewn in place they fastened down to the footman loops on the sides and read of the M38

i didn't knew that much about them.
i use a few on my M38A1 for my top bow storage brackets,windshield hold down.

And, the Home Hardware store in Dunham - which is near enough to Stukely has an excellent backroom full of old stores. I bought some 1950s steel jerry cans there, including one still full of old motor oil. No rust!
