Default Wrecked Wrecker

Gentlemen,

Todays foraging resulted in the following lump being added to the backyard collection.

Judging by the wheel base it was once a 60cwt. Sometime between then and now it was converted into a wrecker, used up, then parked behind a barn of a local egg farmer.

Special thanks go to Perry Kitson who knows a friendly fellow with a tilt-n-load truck that made this a very easy recovery. Perry gets first pick of parts from this truck for his efforts.

Default Winch

But it does have a winch. By the amount of moss on the winch, I would guess that the last winching was not done last weekend ...

Nice find! If it wasn't for the obvious lack of Spiders and Snakes, it could almost qualify as an Aussie find.

"Perry gets first pick."
Is that a promise or a threat?

Default Maybe Not so wreckead After All

The wrecker, or what is left of it ,is sitting beside the garage waiting to go to its new home. If anybody wants to come over for a hamburger and a beer they are welcome to slip by B'Ville this Saturday. Bring your work gloves as we will need a hand to get this one on its way ..

Default Lunch

Jordan, et al,

The fun will start about noonish, with lots of sitting around and munching burgers and quaffing ales waiting for all that show up prepared to work ( or supervise - Charlie already has that job ). Bob and Rob must travel through the wasteland that is the GTA - so when they arrive is not really in our hands ...

I did reply to your e-mail; please bring your stuff and we will get it done. Come early for the best free stuff . There is even stuff for Jon Skagfeld, if he shows up.

Stewart

Gord - if you come, will you bring an Iltis?

Default Date Change

Due to issues beyond our control, Bob and Rob will not be appearing until Sunday at noon in Woodstock.

You can still come over Saturday if you want - I have to eat lunch that day also. Folks that come Saturday may also enjoy a bit of yardwork in exchange for dropping by.

If anybody comes by Sunday, there is a bit of a gun show at the fair grounds downtown ( its Woodstock, so look for a small sign near the Frosty Freeze ice cream store ).

See you then.
