Default Help identify this Ammo Chest

Can anyone give me an idea of the era and type of ammo chest this is. All I can read of the black markings is Chest Ammo and some misc numbers here and there.

Thanks
Sean

Default Hmmm I think I found it

M17 .50 US Ammunition chest.
Should fit in nicely with the collection once it is cleaned up. For $25.00 I can't complain.
