Default carrier dash LP2A

So I have finally collected enough parts to rebuild my speedo and dash panel. After a sandblast and coat of primer I have been wondering, what colour yellow/bronze do I paint the speedo?

I also have fitted an aftermarket oil pressure gauge for an accurate pressure reading, I was going to do something similar for water temp but might think about it for a while.

Lew, That is looking nice. Would you like me to post some pictures of an original dash? (speedo head is out of it) I took the the photos a few years ago and have posted a few here and there on the forum. It would be nice to have them all up on the forum in one place as a reference.
The carrier (dash panel ) belongs to an elderly chap who's name I forget. He lives on the north side of the Brynderwyns, just south of Whangarei. The rest of the carrier was a basket case when I was there, but I understand it is all up and restored these days. He would likely have been in his 70's when I visited.

His dash shows a guage in the fuel gauge hole with a needle but a black blank face. (it would at least keep the dust out)
A friend on this forum, Terry, tells me the electrical part of the gauge, is the same for all of them.
