Timber truck bodies
G'day All,
Leeann found this badge on a 1940 GMC that I was taking some parts off for my Chevy. What does this badge signify - does it mean that the body was an original WWII tray? Or is it something similar to what happens today if you get a mechanic or engineer to do modifications on a vehicle which then has to be inspected by the Department of Transport and they put an approved modifcation plate on it? The reason I ask is that the vehicle has some signs of being ex-military. Kind Regards Lionel Last edited by Lionelgee; 03-10-09 at 13:19. |

G'day Jeff,
It was a standard 2 wheel drive truck and the tray was rough. Here are a couple of pictures Regards Lionel |
