Flying fat
This pic could also be part of the "in the background" thread. In any event, it's a great pic from North Africa, I assume. The driver must have been in a hurry to get the Quad that high off the ground! Also, check out the Ford station wagons and other vehicles in the background.

Getting CMPs airborn must have been a standard test
At one time or another I have seen various photos of many CMP and other Canadian used vehicles made with all four wheels off the ground. I all most suspect that it was a standard test of how tough they are.
Now I'll have to start a list and collection of the different photos. Cheers Phil

Backfire
The Ford Canada film "Backfire" shows a F15A and carriers doing the same thing. It seems to have been a popular publicity party trick employed by Ford.
Incidentally I do have copies of this film available on DVD (PAL format only but these will play on your computer in NTSC countries). PM me for a copy at $20 each plus postage.
