Adelaide to corowa
G'day all, i'm after a favour. I'm getting a few engine bits and pieces such as water pumps ffrom a mate in adelaide, and it struck me to see if anybody was travelling that way to corowa that could bring them over for me to save on getting them posted?
Any help at all would be great. Richard

Don't worry, she'll be right, mate (practicing my "strine" is it? ) Maybe I'll round up a team of Kangaroos with empty pouches (no babies) and hop them from Adelaide to Corowa with your bits? Ma Yappy |

Salesman Bob
Geeez Richard
I know you Tasmanians have a second head removed at birth, but in your case they must have taken the wrong one. I live in Adelaide as my Avatar states. My Avatar is also a Phoenix but had a different logo until Jif and Keefy changed it. Actually I see the logo has been changed again. I will be only to glad to transport your parts and Kartmann and Jif can carry them on their laps for safer keeping. Let me know where they are in Adelaide and I'll probably be able to pick them up as well. Now as to remuneration......... Salesman Bob |

Adelaide to Corowa
I also have a mate who is driving a large empty truck to Corowa and beyond to pick up from over there. If anyone has stuff to transport from Adelaide let me know ASAP.

Bob that would be fantastic, I'll owe you at least a few beers
If there is a bit of space I might actually arrange a large box of stuff as I have a generator (as in large altenator for radios, not purely power generation) for my FFR waiting in awelaide for me which I was debating how to get back due to it's weight and size. This would be the perfect opportunity to shift it so to speak. Box should be about 40 x 30 cm approximately, but heavy. Maybe I should change my avatar to a REMLR one to help avoid confustion Richard

I'm "the mate", Bob.
I have some R6 parts for Phoenix Largest would be an oil pump assy, water pump, & other parts. I am situated directly behind Mount Lofty/Mount Bonython off Piccadilly Road. If you would please mail/PM me your phone number, I'll be in touch for us to co-ordinate arrangements either with you, or your mate with the truck. Des |

Ok, if des and bob are going to co-ordinate a pickup I might see if you can pick up the other parts seperately bob, they are with a bloke who works at Warradale Barracks in Warradale. If you are in the area to pick them up I can let you know more details and arrange for him to be expoecting you.

Warradale is miles from me & I very rarely get down that way so if you can sort something out, Richard, out that'd be good.

Hopefully bob is close otherwise i'll have to sort something else out, I think the bloke lives at Mt Barker if that is closer to anybody.

Ok. Adelaide to Mount Barker via the Freeway or via Greenhill Road.
Greenhill Road would take him past my gaff on the way back to the Freeway & then home. Could work out ok then. |
