Did the red/green diagonal slash on corps and Army level Service corps unit signs in WW II go from top right to bottom left, or from top left to bottom right?
I see that divisional level units had the slash from top right to bottom left, but some web pages I saved from a defunct website show that corps and army levels had the slash the opposite. Was this an error? I am looking in Bouchery and see no comments on this either way. Did divisional level units always get the direction correct, come to that?

The AoS for the RCASC ran top left to bottom right (Green left/Red right). The AoS for the RASC ran top right to bottom left (Red left/Green right). A lot of the Service Corps assets from Army level up were from the RASC, due to the simple fact that we did not have the resources to provide the units/formations required.
