Battle for Hong kong
This web site has many interesting articles relating to the battle for Hong Kong: during the fighting, civilian trucks were used as transport along with regular army vehicles.
Pictured truck appears to be a 1940 Fargo fitted with a locally built cab. https://digital.lib.hkbu.edu.hk/1941...tem&id=UN00018
