RCEME for a Fd. Coy. RCE
I was wondering how many and what kind of vehicles and personel were attached from RCEME to an Engineering Field Company during normal operations?

Re: RCEME for a Fd. Coy. RCE
John;
The answer is NONE, there was no Light Aid Detachment attached to a Field Company/Squadron, RCE. There was however one attached to a Field Park Company/Squadron, RCE. Cheers

Thanks!
Believe it or not, that thought did cross my mind. Of course, it makes sense that all repairs etc. would be done by them. |

LAD
In their September 1944 War Diary, the 10th Field Park Company, RCE lists a LAD of 1 officer and 11 other ranks attached. I was wondering if there was a standard LAD grouping that would tell me the make-up of this unit. How many vehicles and of what type?
