Question lengthening frame

I have my frame just about stripped and need to replace part of the frame that was cut off. If anyone would know the length from the back of the spring mount to the back of the frame, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, did the frame taper or change in size behind the spring mount? I am going to get some metal bent to replace what is missing.
This is on a f15a cab 11, 1941. There has also been a crossmember welded at the back and bracing was cut off. Any info would be great. No hurry on the measurements, I hope to get the frame sandblasted whenever I can get it to someone.

Smile late christmas present

The farmer who said he had the back of a gun tractor cab finally called me. Santa dropped it off in between the snow storms.

Default Hello Phil...

Where in Manitoba are you, and are you a member of our Prairie Command Club? There is a lot of good info and parts available thru club members. Well worth the $10 a year for membership. Someone may even have an uncut frame for you! Yes, it appears Santa was good to you, way to go! Cheers Rob Fast Steinbach Manitoba

Hi Rob. I'm in Waskada, in southwest Manitoba. I joined the prairie command in December. Talked to a few, but haven't met anyone yet. Talked to some people with frames and cabs, will wait till spring to go see them. The frame I have is in good shape so didn't want to waste it.

I know of a 13 cab in the area. Are the frames the same on both 11 and 13 cab? Can I take measurements off the 13 cab frame?

cheers
phil

The Ford CMP chassis was the same for cab 12 & 13 apart from mounting holes being in different places.

Cheers
Cliff
