Default 1954 235 chevrolet

with the old style valve color. I'm regretting not buying this right away!

The numbers check out as an early high pressure engine.. I've bought a 1954 motor out of the states a few years ago but it had the 4 bolt valve cover introduced mid year.
Perfect for a CMP!

Default Strange Capt. bars.......

.....behind the starter location........

I have a full pressure 1954 with the similar 216 valve cover and the air slots on top are not punched out.....? and short side covers. There was something on Stovebolt about a mid year change to the covers.

Rather surprised at the going price of the engines on Ebay...... You can do better on local Kijiji ............... or Les Pacs in Quebec.
