Default Heads up maple leaf truck?

Gentlemen....correct me if I'm wrong, but is this not a "Maple Leaf Truck" for sale on Kijiji. It's just down the road from Nelson BC. Ad is listed as "1942 Chevy HD Truck" Ad ID: 1423800627. Maybe some kind MLU member could post it on the forum for all to see.
Thanks and cheers.....Robert

Here are a couple of the photos saved. I don't see anything about it that says "military".

May not be military but looks like a nice old truck of the era. Sadly, some fool would buy that truck and make a Frankenstein pile of shet "ratrod" out of it.

Or a replica of the truck Rommel owned and drove Heinz Guderian to Stalin's birthday party in 1940, 2 years before the truck was built!

Default Are we sure it is a Maple Leaf...?

No name badge on the side of the hood......

Front wheel shows recessed bearing hub..... not Heavy duty I beleive....

How many engines are includes, shows a V8, a 6 in the engine bay and another on the platform....

Cab looks good......what about the floor which is nasty to rust away.

Price seems a bit high...

Would be nice to see the tag under the hood, on the side of the cowl. RHS.

Good luck Bob

Default Engine

I think that the V-8 picture doesn’t belong to the advert. It is a Dodge V-8, probably a 318 or 360.
