Default Aussie Oddities

I also found these on the same site.
First a Ford used by Aussies in Burma. Does not resemble any Fords I have seen before.

Next a FWD described as being driven by Indians in Persia.
Would they be delivering to the Russians Lend Lease Vehicles?

And for now an Autocar Tractor and trailer, also very unusual to see in Aussie service.

Bill that Pic is captioned 'American Truck'. On the door it is marked as a US Army vehicle. So rather then one of our Aussie trucks it is one of yours operating with your forces stationed here in Australia.

Next a DUKW used by Australian Forces.

Bill on the dics I sent you are a large number of DUKW's in Aussie service.

Next a FWD described as being driven by Indians in Persia.

Bill they may well be delivering the vehicles to the Russians but I think that a large number of the troops guarding Persia at that time were Indian troops.

The Ford

I think is a local Indian bodied vehicle.

Cheers
Cliff
