Hmmmm, almost a zero answer; I'll have the wife ask Kate, Betty, Jill, Judy and Val at work later.

Well, that's MLU for you... a safe harbour for pearls of wisdom from all over the world. But then again, I'm easily awed... or is that 'easily odd'?

Jefe, I hear that your mother is very entertaining, in fact, it could be said "Yama nobore"

P.S. If you're still cold, you could climb Mt. Niitaka to warm up

Default I remembered...

...I even mentioned it at work by starting off with a question. 'Do you know what the phrase "...A day that will live in infamy!" is from?
Good to know that all these 30 and 36 year olds did not have a clue and even after explaining they still could not remember the statement.

In another note but in the same area , have any of you looked at Pearl Harbour with GOOGLE EARTH? Very cool! You can still see the oil escaping from the Arizona .

Same-same here too, Sean. Sometimes I think we were born out-of-time, othertimes that we have been sentenced to the hopeless task of edumacating The Herd...

Sean, here's the first of two trivia questions for you:

Was it a unanimous vote in congress to declare war on Japan?

Nope, 388-1 in the house though the senate was unanimous all on Dec 8, 1941.

Good so far. Question #2: Which state's congressman voted against the war?

Winner!
Y'know Sean, these 2" mortars are quite handy, now if you can give me an 8 digit grid reference, I'll have a delicious, frosty ale on it's way to you!

North 53 34.73 West 111 27.90? Let's see, that puts you near the intersection of Yellowhead Highway and Range Road 41, no?

P.S. Greetings from N33 09' 13.14" W97 02' 55.70"
