Default Ebay help!!

Hi
I'm hoping somone maybe able to help me out,I have found some insignia on ebay I'd like to replace some missing items on a uniform I have in my collection but the seller won't ship outside the US and Canada.I was wondering if somone here on MLU might bid on these things for me and then forward them to me in the UK.I will of course pay all costs involved plus extra for time etc.

If anyone can help I'd be very greatful, the lot number is 2277418155 and they end on the 22nd.please PM or email me if you can help.

Thanks
Matt.

Speaking for myself, I'd be very happy to send on any package (although in this particular case it is of no use to you), but I would ask you to control the bidding process. In other words, you make sure you put in a winning bid and ensure payment, and then ask the seller to ship it to a MLU member within his desired region.
Good luck!

H.

Default Bidding on ebay

Hey Matt,
I think I have bought half my Ebay items from the States or the UK even though the ad stated they would only ship within their own country. Just send them an email and ask. If you have good feedback it shouldn't be an issue make sure you tell them you have good feedback though. Otherwise buy it and have it shipped to me and I will reship it to the UK.

Post Ebay help

Hi Matt,

I have not tried this service but is worth looking at (found the URL at this forum in a post not so long ago):shop the states

But their service will obviously cost you some extra money.

Matt,Snowtractor and anyone else using mail services..
I posted this on a previous thread yesterday.

Ordering now from north America, even with air mail has slowed down so much and back logged at the depots with this terrorist sh*t is really cramping any mail from in and out of the country..
I sent manuals to Austria on the 4th Of October and as of today(21st Oct) they still have not arrived..usual time is 5-8 working days..air 2 months by sea...
I can't track air mail unless it is registered..I guess that is the next step..But the cost is brutal..
$40.00 post for two manuals ..air...Registered air..????

Since yesterday TV news is showing huge backlogs of all sorts of mail coming in and going out of North America, which includes Canada by the way,..tractor trailor loads of mail sitting around waiting to be checked and sorted..Huge backlogs..
I'm waiting for payment from Belgium,Virginia, and even locally in Ontario that usually takes a day..No sign of it in 4 days..The over seas airmail usually taakes 5-8 working days ..no sign after three weeks..
All I can do is keep sending and hopefully this mess will get resolved..
So any one using postal services,be aware of exceptionally long delays due to security concerns..
Also proper mailing info both from sender and reciever is now crittically checked and with contents description complete and accurate or it will be returned..
I just heard read this in this mornings paper..
Customs and postal inspection services are under pressure from US security authouities..
POOP...!!
