Default Chevy cab13 nose/cowl holes

Hi all.

I’m curious as to what the purpose is for these holes. There is 8 in total. Would they be for rubber numbers for the hood?

Default holes

I did put rubber in the top holes as I have found remnants of rubber bumpers on 2 trucks. never seen anything in the front holes but wonder if they are there for the box extension for the C60X?
