Does anyone recognise this grill?
I acquired this grill with a house I bought in the UK, it was in a dusty old outhouse. It looks like a vehicle grill but it may not be.
The grill is 38inches wide by just over 16 inches high. there is a sliding extension piece at the top which increases the height to just under 29 inches. There is what appears to be a clearance for a prop shaft to pass through the grill at the bottom which is just under 7 inches wide and 7 and a half inches high. Anybody recognise this? |

Might be a rack off a gas or wood kitchen stove/cooker with slide-out tea towel drying rack? Loop for the chimney from the oven?

Certainly a possibility, but perhaps a little unlikely. However that is a good use that it could be put to!
