Default Ford CMP Windshield Seals

Hi Mariano,

Great find again. These photos add greatly to the information on these vehicles, especially rubber parts which don't survive the ages well.

I had a look in the F-15A Spare Parts List for them and surprisingly they are not listed with that number. The sequential numbers go from 755765 to 755770. There is no 755767 listed.

The list shows four strips with parts beginning with*56049-- which I take as the side flaps on the windshield frame. It also shows part no. *C29 81192 B Windshield to Frame- 2 required, which I believe are the two strips above the windshield. I am guessing it is a flat strip with a round tubular end that squishes shut against the windshield frame when closed. They would be the ones with the holes in them to allow the screws to attach the hinge to the cabin windshield frame. I have found remnants of rubber there but never an intact piece.

I have obtained in Australia "T" shaped rubber section from Clark Rubber that has adequately done the job for the flaps around the edge of the frames as shown in the photos.

Hope this is of interest.

Cheers,
