Default 1940 Chevrolet C15 Type 11 cab

This truck runs and drives, brakes need work. It starts quickly and idles nicely. It revs cleanly and all the gears work, clutch is nice. Temp and oil pressure gauge function and engine has lots of oil pressure. No leaks.

It may burn some oil, but I have not driven it enough to know. The spark plugs were not oily so I believe the engine is sound, as it has lots of power

It is missing the doors, engine cover, and top engine access cover. It appear to have had some sort of a winch on the back, judging by the roller with cable marks on it. And remnant of brackets.

Gas tank has old gas in it so I am feeding it from a small tank for now.
I have the original oil bath air cleaner, it may not appear in the pictures.
Both gun clips are in the cab.

Light surface rust but no heavy corrosion anywhere. Firestone smooth tread on front and tractor grips on back seem original, and it is a 2 wheel drive.

I am not sure of this vehicles value, make an offer. Truck is located in Stockholm Saskatchewan. Call my cell 306 740 8964 or reply to this add.

Would appear to be a 15 cwt from the look of 16" rims hubs and axles. I believe this vehicle has been discussed before when the vehicle wasn't running http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ghlight=kijiji

The current kijiji ad.

I will sell this truck cheap. Make an offer you will be surprised. You, the knowledgeable military collector, tell me what its worth.

It wont be free, like some Saskatchewan finds, but a good deal.

Don't end up kicking yourself when you find out what it sold for. Because you will kick if you dont end up with it, and were considering buying it.

Trades considered too, delivery available.

I restored a ratty Norton 16H Military long before ebay or the internet was invented....and put over 100 miles on it here on the back roads of Sk.

And have my ancestors names chiseled in stone here in Canada on Military monuments.

Do I qualify now?

Agree; I have changed the title from C8 to C15.
