Default Coe Hill Weekend

We tried let last night from the Coe Hill weekend, Carolle and I had a blast. We met a lot of new people and saw old friends again. I must lift my hat to Frank Von Rosentiel and his wife they were one of the key organizers and they did an absolutely great job.
The campground/display grounds were great with lots of room and electricity. We had a few US visitors from New Jersey and they seem to have enjoyed themselves. There was a Hugh variety of vehicles from jeeps to tanks and from CCKW to to the CUCV, and everybody participated in the parade.
I think the most amazing thing I saw was during the parade, we did not have one breakdown everyone started and finished the parade, I did not even get the chance to tow anyone with my Contact Maintenance truck.
During the how there were couple of small problems but they were fixed by the local wizard Frank. I was doing some Maintenace on Carolle's ambulance when all of a sudden a buzzer came on, no way could I find where the noise came from or what the problem was, Frank Cmre over, listen to the buzzer and calmly sked meiftheambulance back door was open? It was, close door no buzzer. Did I feel dumb, you bet!!!!
This was our first time in Coe Hill but definitely not our lasts, it was really worth the trip. Again, to the organizers well done.

Gilles & Carolle

This is a shot of Gilles looking for someone to hook his tow strap up to.
